Tea & Christmas Eve

The first cup of tea of the day really is the best.
For some people the first cup of coffee of the day is the best.
I prefer tea, i like a cup of coffee but not very often.




Well today is Christmas Eve & what does my family do today?

Baking!!!

Today the turkey get's cooked & mince pie's & sausage rolls are made.
I dont like mince pies but i love sausage rolls, especially when they have just come out of the oven.
Its tradition in our house to do cook the turkey & make homemade sausage rolls & mince pies.
My nan used to do it without fail every christmas eve, mum now does it without fail every christmas eve.

Sorry i haven't posted a blog in a while but, i have been a busy little bee.
All of Mum's, Kev's & Kyle's present's have turned up now.
Mum's Nintendo Wii turned up saturday so she will be a happy bunny on christmas :)
I can't post what kev has got as he looks on my blog lol or Kyle's as he looks too lol.
At the moment Kev has Man Flu :( & don't i know it!!!!
Mistleto has finally left the christmas tree alone.
Peanut on the other hand is a little madam, if she can get in to it or touch it she will.
Today i feel like i haven't stopped, i've cleaned the whole house from top to bottom and now i'm in agony, all that's left to do is the washing and i'm in the middle of it now.
only 3 more loads to do then its done.
Between 6:30 & 7:00 i'm going to feed the zoo lol, then sort some dinner out.
Right now i'm just going to sit down for a minute and have a nice cup of tea :)

My Christmas Present

Last night Kev gave me my laptop early!!!!!
No more sharing computer's.

I have other present's fom kev for christmas but this is my main present.
Big Big thanks to my mumfor sorting it out and updating it etc.

All the christmas frozen food shopping is done at last.
Tomorrow we're just going to get the last of the pickle's, drinks and little bits (not sure what they are yet lol) and then we're all ready for thursday.

Hi Everyone,



Really sorry i haven't posted on here for a while but its been mayhem here.
I have now done all my christmas present shopping (at last!).
Me and Kev have spent £1,500 on all our family this year.
Never again lol.

My Asthma is playing up again!!
Had to get a repeat for my pump's.

Most of kev's present's are wrapped now.
Wrapping my brother's tonight & on thursday night i will be wrapping my mum's.

Precious and her 5 Kittens have been booked in at the vets to be spayed & neutered for the 13th of January.
Precious is black & white, Spike is black & white with a white nose, Freddie is Black & white with only half his nose white, Mouse is black, white & grey, Peanut is white with blacks spludges & a black nose & Mistleto is pure black.

Chestnut is doing well.
He love's carrot, brussels & cabbage.
I gave him a little bit of a yellow pepper tonight, he not sure on that one bless him lol.

The Christmas decorations are up but Mistleto & Peanut are driving me mad with the tree.
They will not leave it alone no matter how many times you tell them to leave it.
Why do i always get the naughty kittens!!!!!!!!!!!

I will post some pics of the Kittens & Mummy Cat as soon as i can decent one's lol.

Meet Chestnut

Here is a picture of 5 week old Chestnut.

Chestnut

My little boy arrived this morning at 10:45am.
I got him from my brother's friend step mum.
He is a dark ginger and i called him Chestnut.
Im a little bit pee'd off because she wouldn't come in and i dont know what food he is on, obviously guinea pig food (not that dumb yet) but what type!!
So we went to the pet shop and i brought him a small bag of food, while we were there mum brought some thing's for my bro's hamster and i brought the girl's some raw hide chew's.
Chestnut is now in his cage but he is very unsure.
I have noticed he has got a few little bite mark's on the back of his ear's but apart from that he seem's ok.
Daisy and Millie were very happy with their chew's so i went back to the pet shop to get some more for their stocking ready for christmas morning.
Their doing 20 chew's for £1.
Im just going to have a sit down now and a glass of coke as i feel so tired, hopefully i'll sleep tonight.
Don't hold out much hope though.
If your in the uk wrap up warm tonight, its going to be a cold one.

Mills

My dog Millie or mills for short is a right little cow bag, she hates being groomed or brushed.
At the moment she look's in a right terrible state because she is all matted so, i brought a comb with a short blade in it to groom her.
Well Me and Kev sat on the sofa with her tonight, Me with the back of her with brush and Kev with the front end and a BIG handful of biscuits lol.
If you distract her she wont' know your grooming her!
She was fine like this for about 10 minutes, long enough for me to do 1 back leg and most of her back.
Your probably thinking why dont you get a groomer out or take her to groomer, the reason i won't is because she bites as she dont like the clippers so i dont want any one to get or for her to be cklassed as visious because that's the last thing she is, its just she dont like being groomed.
If youi have a normal brush, then she is fine.
She is just a little madam

I can't wait.

1 I get my little boy guinea pig tomorrow.
I still haven't thought of any name for him yet.
I have got everything for him, just not got him yet lol.

2 My partner has brought me a laptop for christmas (bless him)
I'll be able to go online when i want and not have to wait for him to get off his lol.

1 of those night's!!!!

Have you ever had one of those night's?
I went to bed early because i was tired and i fell asleep at about midnight then to wake up at 2:55am!
So i got up & made myself a cup of tea and sat in the sitting room til 4:30am, then i went back to bed and tossed and turned til 6:30am then fell asleep til 10:45!!
My sleep pattern is so out, i just dont know what is going on.
Oh well that's my rant for the minute lol.

Cold & Pain

I have never known it to be so cold!!!!
A thick layer of ice was on the ground this morning and the puddle's were frozen!
Me, my Mum & my Partner Kev went to do shopping today and we froze.
I hope we have a white christmas this year, it would be lovely if we did.
Where it was so cold today my Fibromyalgia is playing up more So i have to wear extra layer's of clothes, my med's are not helping so it's heating on and thick bed cover's at night.
Sorry it's such a short post but i really am tired tonight.

I have 2 Cat's, Mistletoe who is 4-5 months old and jet black & Peanut who is 4-5 months old and white and black, Mistletoe & Peanut are sister's.
I have 1 Dog a Shih-tzu who is brindle colour called Millie and she is 2 years old.
On saturday i will be getting a Guinea Pig.
